Audience of ONE - My Savior Jesus Christ

"Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff they comfort me."
-Psalm 23:4

It has been too long!

Wow! I cannot believe how long it has been since I last posted. SOO much has happened since December.

Due to Visa issues in Spain I had to return to the United States on December 10th. After helping my family move and spending time with them over the Holiday season I drove to Xenia, OH to the Athletes in Action headquarters. In Xenia I was able to help with the 2011 International Coaches Academy and many other things!

During the Academy I was able to disciple a female coach from Guatemala and through God help her establish a personal relationship with Him.(I also had the privelage of buying her her first Bible! This was also a great time for me to practice my Spanish as she did not speak English) 15 coaches from 7 different countries attended this Academy!

Along with being equipped and discipled myself, I was able to work withthe players on a local University basketball team. All ten of the players expressed interest in learning how to start/further their relationship with God! Praise be to God! We had team meetings with them, andif I would not be going back to Spain next week I would have started meeting with players one on one to disciple them.

Thanks to God and many of your prayers my Visa was approved on February 25th and I was able to pick it up at the Consulate in Chicago on March 2nd. I will fly back to Malaga, Spain next Tuesday. I am looking forward to reconnecting with the girls on my team and the local community.

Through all of this I have truly seen why trusting in God is so important and how although we may not understand why things are happening it is all in God’s control and He knows what He is doing. So much good can come from non-ideal situations. It is so important to trust and walk by faith day-by-day!

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” -Jeremiah 29:11
