Audience of ONE - My Savior Jesus Christ
-Psalm 23:4

It always helps me process and better understand things when I write them out, which is why I have decided to write out my gospel presentation. It allows me to better express my thoughts and gives me a reference point for the future!
The six points I use are:
1. Creator
2. Rebellion
3. Judgment
4. Cross
5. Resurrection
6. Response/Choice
1. Creator
God created the entire universe and each and every one of us in His image. He created us to be in relationship, just as God is in relationship with Christ our Savior and the Holy Spirit. God also created us to be creative and to use the talents He has given us to worship Him.
God Created Everything à
Genesis 1:1- “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.”
John 1:3- “Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.”
Created in God’s Image à
Genesis 1:26- 27- “Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the seas and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move alone the ground.” So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.”
Created to Be in Relationship à
Genesis 2:18- “Then Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him.”
Created to Be Creative à
Genesis 2:15- “The Lord God took the man and put him the in Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it.”
Mark 6:3- “Isn’t this the carpenter? Isn’t this Mary’s son and the brother of James, Joseph, Judas, and Simon? Aren’t his sister here with us? And they took offense at him.”
*(Jesus used his talent of carpentry to be creative!)*
2. Rebellion
Because of the fall of man we are ALL separated from God. We ALL have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. We have rebelled because God was allowed us free-will and we have ALL decided to turn away from Him.
Separated From God à
Isaiah 59:2- “But your inequities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear.”
All Fall Short of the Glory of God à
Romans 3:23-“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”
Romans 3:10-12- “As it is written: There is no one righteous, not even one; there is no one who understands, no one who seeks God. All have turned away, they have together become worthless; there is no one who does good, not even one.”
3. Judgment
God is a just and fair God and we all must face judgment before Him. Our own works are not good enough.
Facing Judgment à
Ecclesiastes 12:14- “For God will bring every deed into judgment, including every hidden thing, where it is good or evil.”
2 Corinthians 5:10- “For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive what is due for what he has done in the body, whether good or evil.”
Hebrews 9:27- “And just as it is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment.”
Our Own Works are Not Good Enough à
1 Peter 1:18- “For you know that is was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from you forefathers.”
Ephesians 2:8- “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith – and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God – not by works, so that no one can boast.”
4. Cross
Thankfully our God loves all of us so much that He sent His one and only Son to take up the wrath that we deserve of all our past, present, and future sins. Jesus was sinless and pure, but died on the cross for us to be saved and to have a relationship with God the Father, Creator of Heaven and Earth.
God’s Love For us à
John 3:16- “For God so love the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
1 Peter 5:7- “Case all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.”
Ephesians 2:4-5- “But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions – it is by grace you have been saved.”
Jesus was Pure and Sinless à
Hebrews 4:15- “For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are – yet was without sin.”
1 Peter 1:19- “But with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect.”
1 Peter 2:22- ““He committed no sin, and no deceit was found in his mouth.””
Jesus Died on the Cross à
Matthew 27:50-“And when Jesus had cried out again in a loud voice, he gave up his spirit.”
Acts 2:23- “This man was handed over to you by God’s set purpose and foreknowledge; and you, with the help of the wicked men, put him to death by nailing him to the cross.”
5. Resurrection
Three days after Jesus died on the cross, He rose from the dead, proving that He (Jesus) is God, there is life after death, and that the gospel is true!
Resurrection à
Romans 4:25- “He was delivered over to death for our sins and was raise to life for our justification.”
Romans 1:4- “And who through the Spirit of holiness was declared with power to be the Son of God by his resurrection from the dead: Jesus Christ our Lord.”
Acts 2:24- “But God raised him from the dead, freeing him from the agony of death, because it was impossible for death to keep its hold on him.”
Luke 24:7- ““The Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, be crucified and on the third day be raise again.””
1 Corinthians 15:3-4 “For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, and that he appeared to Peter, and then to the Twelve.”
6. Response/Choice
Because God has given all of Creation free will, we have the choice of whether to believe Christ died on the cross for our sins, rose again on the third day, and now is alive in Heaven seated at the right hand of the Father. When we put our trust in faith in Jesus Christ we are able to gain back our relationship with God (who is loving, compassionate, gracious, and merciful) and are able to spend eternal life with Him in Heaven. We are also created new and all of our sins are forgiven! The blunt reality is, that all who do not put their trust and hope in Jesus Christ will live an eternity in hell fully and completely separated from God.
Jesus is Alive and is Seated at the Right Hand of the Father à
Acts 2:32-33- “God has raised this Jesus to life and we are all witnesses of the fact. Exalted to the right hand of God, he has received from the Father the promised Holy Spirit and has poured out what you now see and hear.”
Hebrews 12:2- “Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its sham, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.”
Gain Back Relationship with God When we Trust Jesus à
John 14:6- “Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
New Creation à
Acts 3:19- “Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord.”
Colossians 2:13-15- “When you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made youalive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins, having canceled the charge of our legal indebtedness, which stood against us and condemned us; he has taken it away, nailing it to the cross. And having disarmed the powers and authorities, he made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross.”
Eternal Life à
John 3:36- “Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on him.”
1 John 5:11-13- “And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life.”
